Inaugural MFSN Summit
The Medicaid Food Security Network (MFSN) celebrates the successful convening of 170 stakeholders at its first in-person event in Washington, DC, on May 7 and 8. At this inaugural MFSN Summit, we explored Medicaid’s crucial role in linking eligible families to federal nutrition programs.
Participants from key cross-sector organizations were engaged from the opening plenary – the live-streamed “Conversations on Food Justice” – through a day and a half of panels and workshops, culminating in the closing plenary – “Medicaid Food Security Strategies as a Pathway to Catalyze Transformative Change.”
Check out the first of many highlights and compelling stories from the event here.
A full report on the MFSN Summit will be released later this month.
